The U.S. Standardization Center of Excellence (SCoE) is hosting its first Critical and Emerging Technologies (CET) Stakeholder Workshop on May 14-15 to help shape the future of CET standardization. As an implementing partner in the SCoE, ANSI encourages all relevant stakeholders to register their interest in attending by April 15.
The SCoE is a cooperative agreement between the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) and ASTM aimed at supporting private sector-driven engagement and capacity building in the development and use of international standards. ANSI, ASME, the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) Robotics, CSA Group, IEEE, and UL Standards & Engagement are partner organizations.
Workshop Details:
On May 14-15, 2025, the SCoE will hold its first Stakeholder Workshop in Bethesda, Maryland. The workshop should be of particular interest to individuals with both topical expertise in one or more CETs and demonstrated experience in standards processes.
Space is limited and registration is required. Interested stakeholders should register their interest in participating by April 15.
Topics of Discussion:
The workshop will focus on engaging government, industry, academia, standards development organizations, implementing partners, and other stakeholders to share expertise and insights on the development and use of standards for CETs, challenges they are facing, and opportunities for acceleration.
