The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) of China is collecting feedback from foreign-invested enterprises (FIEs) operating in China about their participation in Chinese standardization activities. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) encourages all members who have a local presence in China, especially related to Chinese standardization, to complete this survey before the May 31 deadline, following the instructions below. For members who do not have investments in China but would still like to submit feedback, please contact the ANSI China team at [email protected].
The first of its sort, this survey is designed by the Chinese central government to understand the current situation, difficulties, and appeals of FIEs participating in China’s standardization; improve the efficiency of relevant government services; and support the opening up of China’s standards system. It includes questions covering challenges and concerns that FIEs may run into when engaging with their Chinese counterparts and participating in standardization-related activities, such as standards promulgation, technical committee engagement, and standards information collection.
ANSI encourages all members who have a local presence in China, especially related to Chinese standardization, to complete this survey by clicking the link or scanning the QR code linked below.
