In September 2026, ANSI hosted a Data Centers Standards Roundtable to convene standards developers, industry, government, academia, and other stakeholders to discuss the evolving data center landscape and identify opportunities for standards coordination. The roundtable explored emerging challenges, standards priorities, and areas where greater collaboration could support the safe, reliable, interoperable, resilient, and sustainable growth of the data center ecosystem.
