The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) has posted an interactive map that reveals the impact of the safety industry in each state of the U.S.
The map allows users to click on a state and learn how many workers are protected and jobs are created, as well as the amount of taxes and wages paid, due to the safety equipment industry, including supplier and other interlinked impacts. Data also includes the overall economic impact for each state, and nationwide totals for number of jobs, number of workers protected, and economic activity generated.
