Johnson & Johnson Releases Q&A about Investigational Vaccine

As Johnson & Johnson works on its Phase 3 clinical trial known as ENSEMBLE, Mathai Mammen, M.D., Ph.D., global head of Janssen Research & Development at Johnson & Johnson, answers questions about his team's latest research and development milestones. The investigational Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine candidate includes at least 45,000 adult participants of all ages and ethnicities. As Dr. Mammen explains, vaccine efforts also involved a partnership with MIT to predict COVID-19 incidence at a regional level.

ASSP Webinar on OSHA’s Most Commonly Cited COVID-19 Standards

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) will host a free 60-minute webinar on March 4, 2021, to provide an overview of the standards that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is citing most frequently during COVID-related inspections. Legal expert panelists will discuss why these standards are topping the list and what steps OSH professionals and their organizations can take to ensure they are following OSHA guidelines to protect their workers from COVID-19. The webinar will also cover how OSHA will likely continue to enforce COVID-19 protections under the new administration. Attendees will:

  • Examine the standards used by OSHA for issuing citations around COVID-19
  • Determine how to ensure that your workplace is following all of the necessary OSHA guidelines for COVID-19
  • Discuss how we expect OSHA to continue citing workplaces for COVID-19

Register for the webinar, "OSHA’s Most Commonly Cited COVID-19 Standards," on the ASSP website.
