Your complete application and any comments received and addressed as a result of public review are circulated to a subcommittee of the ANSI ExSC and then the full ExSC for review. Following its review, the ExSC will determine whether the application should be approved. ANSI staff provides support throughout this process.
You will be notified in writing by ANSI of the ExSC’s decision, and if accreditation is granted a notice will appear in Standards Action. ANSI staff will copy any objectors to the application on the ExSC's decision, initiating a 15-working-day appeals filing period (see ExSC Procedures, section 19).

Following accreditation, a U.S. TAG should be referred to as an “ANSI-Accredited U.S. TAG” (or alternatively, the “ANSI/[SDO] TAG to ISO/TC XX” or the equivalent) in all activities and communications.
