A new webinar being hosted by the American Wood Council (AWC) will introduce listeners to the largest mass timber high-rise building in the world—the Ascent, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Listeners will learn about the design principles and construction process of the Ascent building, and the varying IBC code year restrictions on mass timber height requirements. They will also learn about the basic firefighting principles of residential high-rise buildings, including mass timber buildings, and how developers, architects, and engineers can incorporate these into future developments and approval processes.
