Call for Nominations for 2026 ANSI Board of Directors, Policy Advisory Groups, and Committee on Education

6/23/2025

Nominations due by July 18

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) invites all of its members to recommend qualified candidates for the 2026 ANSI Board of Directors, the National Policy Advisory Group (NPAG), the International Policy Advisory Group (IPAG), the Intellectual Property Rights Policy Advisory Group (IPRPAG), and the Committee on Education (CoE).

All nominations are due either by email or via ANSI’s online process no later than Friday, July 18, 2025. Access the nominations forms for the Board of DirectorsPolicy Advisory Groups (PAGs), and Committee on Education (CoE) in ANSI’s secure member document library.

The Board is responsible for the management and control of the activities, property, and affairs of ANSI, including the strategic direction of the Institute, the annual budget, and the scope of responsibilities of the Board Committees, the Committees of ANSI, the Member Forums, and the Policy Advisory Groups. Candidates should be able to attend meetings, participate actively, and make an effective contribution to the work of the Board.

The PAGs identify trends and issues within the expertise of each group, and, where appropriate, provide recommendations to the Executive Committee on relevant actions. PAGs are advisory in nature and their members are not fiduciaries to ANSI, but they play an important role in developing policy positions in each of their respective focus areas.

The CoE is responsible for all Institute initiatives related to standards and conformity assessment education and outreach, as well as fulfilling related objectives of the United States Standards Strategy.

About the Nominations Process

ANSI strives to assure balance and diversity within its membership, and is seeking Board members who enhance member relationships and networks. To facilitate the nomination process, ANSI has compiled a set of guidelines intended to help the Committee select candidates that possess specific expertise and experience that the Board deems of timely importance to ANSI.

Questions on Board nominations can be directed to Eleni Konstantopoulos at [email protected]. Questions on PAG or CoE nominations can be directed to Daniel Griffin at [email protected].
