Mark your calendars: ANSI will host an in-person only conference on U.S. leadership in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on April 22-24, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona.
ANSI is the U.S. member body to ISO, and ANSI's U.S. National Committee (USNC) to the IEC is the U.S. member body to the IEC.
The event will feature a series of insightful panels, networking activities, and breakout sessions focusing on the critical role the U.S. plays in the global standards and conformity assessment community.
Topics covered will include the value of participation in ISO and IEC activities and why it is important for businesses and organizations to be involved; how to effectively communicate the significance of such participation to your CEO and other key stakeholders; the future of standardization, including emerging trends and key developments in the field; strategies for encouraging participation; and updates on key ISO and IEC joint initiatives.
Through these critical discussions, ANSI’s Conference on U.S. Leadership in ISO and IEC will bolster U.S. competitiveness in critical and emerging technologies, and identify ways for the U.S. to become a more influential leader at the governance and technical levels within ISO and IEC, including partnership with other countries.
