The Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA) has named Kimberly Delort as its new associate executive director.
Prior to joining AMCA, Delort was with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for 25 years. Most recently, she led global operations for UL’s Building Inspection Services and Fire & Security Service Solutions teams in the Built Environment division; previously, she held roles in finance, corporate marketing, strategy, global customer training, and acquisitions integrations. Delort began her career as an accountant with a paper and plastics manufacturer.
The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) has appointed Sarah Devlin as accreditation director. In this role, she will manage and promote the ABYC Foundation’s Marine Trades Accreditation Program (MTAP), working directly with secondary and post-secondary schools across the country that are educating future marine technicians.
Previously, Devlin was ABYC’s content director. She has also served as communications director for The Landing School, and education director for the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX).
As accreditation director, Devlin will continue the work with teachers and school administrators initiated by Margaret Podlich, the Foundation’s previous executive director.
