Calling All EV Experts! Register for the Last Sessions of the U.S.-India Virtual Standards Workshop

The Future of Electric Vehicles in India

There is still time to register for the final two sessions of the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) U.S.-India Standards and Conformance Cooperation Program Phase 2 (SCCP II) virtual workshop on electric vehicles (EV) standards, regulations, and market opportunities. The last two sessions will be held on February 23 and 25 at 7:00 a.m. EST/5:30 p.m. IST.

The first session was a great success, having convened more than 100 participants and U.S. and Indian EV experts from the public and private sectors for technological exchange and discussion on EV charging and power grid standards and regulations. The next two sessions will address power grid technology, EV regulations, and investment opportunities, culminating in a round table discussion.

The U.S.-India Standards and Conformance Cooperation Program (SCCP) Phase II is a U.S. Trade and Development Agency-funded program that facilitates interaction and engagement between the public and private sectors in the United States and India. The goal is to increase cooperation in the areas of standards, conformity assessment, and technical regulations in three sectors of interest to industry: smart and sustainable cities, water and sanitation, and clean energy.
