ASTM International has announced an upcoming webinar: “From Research to Standards: Enabling Manufacturing Innovation and Accelerating Commercialization.”

The webinar, to be held on June 15, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET, will feature host Christina Lomasney, director of commercialization, technology, deployment and outreach, Pacific Northwest Laboratory. Lomasney will talk with panelists about the use of standards in manufacturing innovation, and the impact that they’ve had on each panelist’s industry.

Alex Florin, aviation technical standards manager, Wing Aviation, will moderate the session. Panelists will include:

• Chris Reid, environment, health and safety, technical fellow in human factors and ergonomics, The Boeing Company;
• Chaw Sing Ho, chief executive officer, National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC); and
• John Logar, senior director, Sterility Assurance, Johnson & Johnson.
