The International Code Council (ICC) has announced a call for applications for a new ad hoc committee on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The goals of this committee are to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Code Council’s membership association, and help building safety professionals diversify their own organizations and the building safety profession overall.
The ICC is seeking applicants from all backgrounds, including individuals currently working as code officials, architects, engineers, and contractors. Applications are due by 8:00 PM ET, on Friday, March 4, 2022. Interested stakeholders can view the committee scope for the participation details and goals and apply via ICC’s application.
