The InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) will host a webinar on November 10, 2020, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST, to provide an overview of the INCITS/ISO/IEC 19086 standards series.
The webinar is intended to provide more information on the standards series to assist customers as they compare cloud services from different cloud service providers. Eric Simmon, systems expert for the Cyber Infrastructure Group at the National Institute of Standards of Technology (NIST), and project editor for the INCITS/ISO/IEC 19086 Information technology - Cloud computing - Service level agreement (SLA) framework, will lead the webinar.
As cloud service agreements and their associated cloud service level agreements (SLAs) vary between cloud service providers, the webinar will provide an overview of the model for specifying metrics for cloud SLAs. The session will provide information for understanding the core conformance requirements for SLAs for cloud services based on ISO/IEC 19086-1, and guidance on the core conformance requirements.
The webinar is open to stakeholders interested in cloud computing and related standards.
