ANSI Launches New Online Course, Adds Video Content to Expand Education and Training Resources

ANSI is pleased to announce a new course now available in its online education and training offerings: Project Leaders and Project Editors: Roles and Responsibilities.

This course covers the roles and responsibilities of Project Editors and Project Leaders in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee (JTC) 1. Content includes:

  • The differences between a Project Editor and Project Leader
  • Prerequisites for holding these roles
  • The skills needed to serve in each role
  • Tips for performing the roles effectively and efficiently
  • Tips for successfully developing a standard

New Video Content

ANSI has also enhanced the content of Leadership Strategies and Skills: The Fundamentals. This course provides an overview of the most important characteristics a leader should possess, and offers strategies to develop and hone these skills. It also includes practical guidance on leadership in the standards setting environment. Newly added video content offers expert insights from standards professionals including Gaby Davis of IAPMO, Chris Dubay of NFPA, and Laura Lindsay of Microsoft.
