As the U.S. member body to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) seeks comments by August 1 on the ISO Foresight Trend Report. The report is designed to support the ISO community to navigate global trends as the community works towards achieving the goals and priorities of the ISO Strategy 2030.
Within the report, subjects are arranged under the six trend categories: Society, Technology, Environment, Economy, Politics, and Science. Within these six broad trend categories, specific subjects for future consideration are suggested for possible future ISO Ideation Workshops. The workshops are intended to collect ideas from stakeholders for future standardization opportunities.
ANSI encourages stakeholders to review the ISO Foresight Trend Report and the executive summary and to submit comments to Steven Cornish, ANSI senior director of international policy and strategy, at [email protected], by close of business on August 1, 2022. In particular, please share:
