Electrical Air Cleaners: USNC Participants and TAG Administrator Sought

The U.S. National Committee (USNC) of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is seeking participants and a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Administrator for the USNC TAG to IEC/Subcommittee (SC) 59N: Electrical air cleaners for household and similar purposes. The USNC is a totally integrated committee of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

IEC/SC 59N, the 14th group created under technical committee 59, is comprised of experts that focus on preparing international standards on performance measurement methods for electrical air cleaners for household and similar purposes. This may include associated aspects related to the use of the appliances and aspects such as the classification, accessibility and usability of appliances, ergonomic characteristics, and conditions for the information provided at the point of sale.

Individuals with relevant working experience from various interest categories (producer, user, testing/certification, regulatory/inspection, and special experts) are encouraged to apply.
