The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) will host a webinar featuring short presentations that will showcase real-life examples of solar workforce development programs. The event aims to engage stakeholders in a brief review of a draft solar workforce landscape review and gap analysis and showcase real-life examples of workforce development programs.
MREA was been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy as a lead organization to support equitable workforce development practices within the solar industry. The MREA workforce effort is part of the national Equitable Solar Communities of Practice working to increase the benefits of solar development.
The partners are seeking presenters to share their solar workforce development experiences through a short 5-minute presentation.
Register online and access more information to participate via MREA’s website.
