The Hydraulic Institute (HI) recently published an article outlining resources to build awareness among potential new members of the pump industry workforce and educate them on the field.

The pump industry is growing, with projections for 3.4% growth in the U.S. over the next five years, and accordingly, there is a need for qualified and motivated talent. HI developed “Pump PROfiles,” a webpage that informs newcomers about career opportunities and the skills needed for success. They also publish “Pump Pros Know,” articles featuring pump professionals in different areas of expertise who offer some of their real world knowledge to the next generation.
