The Water Quality Association (WQA) has launched a new website to help introduce consumers to the benefits of in-home or at-the-tap drinking water treatment.

The website, www.betterwatertoday.org, uses non-technical language and illustrations to inform consumers on the basics of water and common water contaminants. Readers can also access the new WQRF Contaminant Occurrence Map and learn about a three-step process for improving water quality.

“Outreach to consumers is an important part of WQA’s mission,” said Tom Bruursema, WQA’s associate executive director of member and public engagement. “This website will help homeowners understand the value of quality water in their homes and small businesses.”
