All interested stakeholders may register to virtually attend the September 11 session.

NIST Standards Forum Overview

The forum will feature insights from NIST director Dr. Laurie Locascio, who will deliver the morning keynote address on the U.S. Government National Standards Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technology and its implementation roadmap, which was launched at a White House event in late July.

Gordon Gillerman, NIST conformity assessment advisor and ANSI board director-at-large, will deliver the afternoon keynote address on “The Role of Conformity Assessment in CETs.”

Saunders will join private sector partners who will share their insights and perspectives during the “Public-Private Partnerships to Advance Global Standardization session.”

A discussion on “Driving Innovation Through Standardization” will feature several NIST laboratory directors and private sector partners who will speak about NIST’s work in standardization. The discussion will cover topics such as standards development, conformity assessment, quality management, and accreditation, emphasizing priorities for public-private partnerships to accelerate global standardization in CETs.
