Celebrating automation professionals across all sectors, the International Society of Automation (ISA) will commemorate its fourth annual International Automation Professionals Day on April 28.
The society invites automation experts and students to participate in the digital event by sharing photos of themselves on the job, studying for their automation-related major, and providing testimonials about why they believe automation will improve the world.
ISA launched the day of recognition in commemoration of ISA’s founding on April 28, 1945. The day is a tribute to ISA’s founders and their legacy while also celebrating the professionals who have since made a difference in advancing automation and the sectors it supports, from manufacturing to cybersecurity and the supply chain.
“Ultimately, automation depends on people, and ISA is proud to celebrate that on April 28 and every day. We recognize and thank the international community of technicians and engineers who make our world a better place through automation,” said Claire Fallon, executive director and CEO of ISA. “What mission could be more meaningful?”
Join the celebration on social media with testimonials and images with hashtags #IAPD or #AutomationProDay. Access more information via ISA’s news release.
