The Building Performance Institute (BPI) has released a new suite of federally-funded recruitment templates and tools, and a comprehensive 43-page toolkit to reduce workforce gaps and fill jobs in the residential building energy efficiency and HVAC heat pumps industry.

Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Residential Building Integration Program, the toolkit is designed to empower recruitment of emerging professionals and career-changers. Tools include co-brandable social media templates, high-quality marketing photos of real home performance workers, testimonial videos, template language, and strategies for recruitment, among other resources.

BPI worked with the United States Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development, conducting market research reviews, advisory and pilot groups, and student surveys, and soliciting input from industry experts to develop the toolkit.
