The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) will host a webcast that will focus on challenges related to the development and adoption of AI across the ecosystem.
Renard Jenkins, SMPTE president, will speak with the co-lead of the SMPTE AI Document Fred Walls and USC’s Entertainment Technology Center's Yves Bergquist, about ethical sourcing, responsible AI, content authentication, and other concerns related to the use of AI included in a technology document.
“The industry needs in-depth analysis and unbiased research in regard to all aspects of the development and adoption of AI across the ecosystem,” SMPTE reported. “We will seek to provide that type of analysis during this conversation while keeping time to market expectations, performance constraints, ethics, and security concerns in mind.”
Register and access the webcast on July 10, the latest of SMPTE’s AI webinar series.
