WQA Webinar: PFAS, Drinking Water, and What’s Next

1/11/2024

The Water Quality Association (WQA) will host a Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF) webinar that will provide an overview of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, commonly known as PFAS, contaminants that can be found drinking water.

Presenter Jamie DeWitt, professor of environmental and molecular toxicology at Oregon State University, will discuss what we’ve learned about PFAS and its complex toxicity. Steven Woltornist of Marmon Water Residential Filtration will provide insights on what the water treatment industry knows about treating PFAS, in addition to other emerging contaminants.

WQRF has also published an industry document that answers common questions about PFAS, accessible online.

Register for the “In the Know Webinar” on PFAS, to be held on February 8 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
