The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has developed two new courses on reducing wildfire risk to property, now freely available online for all interested stakeholders.
Developed with a Fire Prevention and Safety Grant from FEMA, the online courses transform NFPA’s existing classroom-based wildfire mitigation training into two online courses: Reducing Wildfire Risk to Property: Protecting Your Home or Business, and Reducing Wildfire Risk to Property: Professional Online Training. Users can also access an NFPA Wildfire Risk Simulator mobile app that includes an interactive 3D and augmented reality tool illustrating wildfire risk to structure.
