The American Concrete Institute (ACI) will host two webinars for building code officials that provide the opportunity to earn continuing education credits while learning about structural concrete.
“Code Requirements for Sampling, Testing, and Inspecting Cast-in-Place Concrete” will offer basic information about cast-in-place concrete, advising building officials on the importance of proper procedures and the considerable changes used in this material, design requirements, and construction method. The session will be offered on two dates: September 14 at 11 a.m. ET, and September 15 at 4 p.m. ET.
“Structural Concrete Repair Webinar for Building Officials” will address structural concrete repair, including minimum requirements and the benefits of an industry-based standard to the code official responsible for review, approval, and oversight of repairs to structural concrete. This session will be offered on two dates, as well: November 4 at 11 a.m. ET, and November 4 at 4 p.m. ET.
