The International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) suggests five considerations on how to test packaging prior to a product’s launch.
The considerations, compiled in an article written by ISTA vice president of standards and certification Eric Hiser, and published in Packaging World, help to break down the task of testing a packaged product to an industry-developed general simulation protocol. Packaging should perform as intended while leaving the desired brand impression.
