The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), a wholly owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), is accepting nominations from interested persons to serve on its Certificate Accreditation Program Accreditation Committee (CAPAC). Nominations must be received by March 31, 2024.
The CAPAC Nominations Committee seeks national experts with broad experience in the fields of personnel certification, accreditation, and policy development related to credentials. Although all individuals with relative experience/knowledge are welcome to apply, strong preference will be given to individuals with a background in the following areas:
Specific duties of committee membership include: providing recommendations to policies and procedures for the ANAB Certificate Accreditation Program, determining the accreditation status of certificate issuers that have applied for initial accreditation or are undergoing their annual surveillance accreditation process, and providing input and advice to ANAB staff regarding operational issues. Members attend quarterly one-day meetings each year and serve on sub-committees and review panels as appointed by the CAPAC Chair. Travel for the quarterly meetings may be required. Members are appointed to a term of three years. More information on CAPAC is provided in the Operating Procedure for Credentialing Committees.
