The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) will co-host the hybrid 2023 Korea-U.S. Standards Forum on Wednesday, August 9 (EST) / Thursday, August 10 (KST). The annual forum establishes a valuable platform for leaders and subject-matter experts from industries, government, and academia from both countries to enhance mutual understanding, exchange expertise and best practices, and develop future cooperation.
Each year, the forum provides a unique opportunity for U.S. experts and Korean executives and officials to come together to discuss standards across a range of critical sectors. Participants will gain exciting opportunities to collaborate in these sectors, while developing partnerships between public and private sector participants in both countries. The forum will host a range of technical presentations and breakout sessions where like-minded attendees can hear about the most recent challenges and breakthroughs in each sector’s standardization and regulatory development. The event will also feature keynotes by U.S. and Korean government officials.

In-person attendance at the forum in Seoul, Korea, offers U.S. participants access to valuable networking opportunities and engagement with U.S. and Korean thought leaders from both the public and private sectors. The forum will take place in a hybrid format, with some participants from the U.S. and Korea joining virtually.
