The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) will host a webinar that will focus on essential core skills and content that are required in the Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) curricula to better prepare current and future HFE practitioners with information to address sustainability issues.

Guest speaker professor Laura Pereira, who serves as Exxaro research chair of the Global Change Institute at the University of the Witwatersrand, will join moderator professor Andrew Thatcher, chair of Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand, to engage in a discussion about what needs to go into the curricula of HFE programs to prepare students for the challenges presented by sustainability and climate change.
