UL Standards & Engagement has developed a virtual house that users can explore to learn more about standards relevant to every room in a home.
The tool allows users to visit the kitchen, living area, garage and utility room, and outdoor space of an illustrated home. Clicking on different areas reveals relevant standards, such as UL 1026, Household Electric Cooking and Food Servings Appliances, to UL 174, Standard for Household Electric Storage Tank Water Heaters, and explains the purposes of these standards.
