IEEE will host a webinar in October on Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) – planar structures that are engineered to dynamically control electromagnetic waves.
RIS is an emerging technology in wireless communications, supporting programmable and reconfigurable wireless propagation environments through nearly passive and tunable signal transformations. The webinar will report state-of-the-art analytical and algorithmic tools, testbed implementations and experimental activities, and research perspectives. It also aims to enable the acceleration of new ideas related to the development of RIS for various applications in the context of wireless communications and networks.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday, October 19, at 9am ET. Click here to register at no cost for this event.
