The Cool Roof Rating Council has announced two free webinars to be held in July:

“Keeping it Cool: Using Cool Roofs to Combat Heat Islands and Save Energy” will cover how cool roofs work and what their benefits are, as well as how their materials are evaluated and labeled, and how third-party product rating support the implementation of policies and programs that require or promote the use of cool roofs. It will be held on Thursday, July 14, at 12 pm Pacific / 3 pm Eastern.

“Beat the Heat: How Solar-Reflective Walls Combat Heat Islands and Improve Energy Efficiency” will provide an overview of the benefits of solar-reflective walls, covering U.S. codes, standards, and voluntary programs that require or promote them. Listeners will also learn about third-party product ratings that demonstrate compliance with codes and programs, and communicate the benefits of these products to end users. It will be held on Thursday, July 21, at 10 am Pacific / 1 pm Eastern.
