The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has published a list of key tips for safety when spring cleaning.

“As Warmer Weather Nears, NFPA Offers 6 Key Tips to Safely Tackle Spring Cleaning” offers guidance on common activities that people do to refresh their homes and prepare for the summer months. The tips address how to properly use and store gasoline, how to safely dispose of rags with paint and stain, how to use and store flammable and combustible liquids, how to prepare your grill for use, how to protect your home against wildfires, and how to clean out your clothes dryer to mitigate fire risk.
