A3 Webinar to Cover Machine Tending with Collaborative Robots

6/09/2021

The Association for Advancing Automation (A3) is hosting a webinar this month on the use of collaborative robots for machine tending tasks.

Machine tending, which includes loading and unloading CNC mills, lathes, drills, press breaks, laser and plasma cutters, 3D printers, assembly machines, dial tables, and more, is the single largest application segment in robots, and the gateway application for most robot manufacturers and system integrators.

“Machine Tending with Collaborative Robots: From Simple to Sophisticated” will explore the fundamentals of collaborative robots, key features that have fueled their growth, and examples of machine tending applications, including next generation flexible and precise machine loading.

The webinar will be held on June 23 from 2-3 p.m. ET. See A3’s website to learn more and register.
