MHI has published a report on trends in remote work, examining how the telecommuting movement caused by the pandemic has affected supply chain workers.
The report, which compiles information from a survey with 670 respondents, found that productivity was higher or equal to in-person work setups, and that offering workplace flexibility fosters productivity and innovation. Trust in employees is key to success in remote work environments. Leadership can support remote workers by offering employer-sponsored elements that workers require for efficient work operations and execution.
