IPC has announced an upcoming webinar: “The ABC’s of Design for Excellence (DfX) in Electronics Manufacturing.”
Part of IPC’s Factory of the Future Webinar Series, the webinar introduces DfX, a strategy of optimizing a product starting early in its design, rather than fixing problems later. Webinar attendees will learn about DfX concepts including Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturability, Design for Environment, and Design for Testability, among others. Using these strategies can not only reduce research and development costs, but also potentially improve quality and decrease time to market. Presenters will also discuss common barriers and mistakes, and practices that can be implemented immediately.
The free webinar will be held on June 3 at 11 a.m. CDT. Registration is required. A recording of the presentation will be emailed to all registrants after the event.
