The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is extending a special invitation for ANSI members so that they can invite their external business contacts to the Company Member Forum (CMF) virtual meeting, to be held on Tuesday, June 9, from 12:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. ET. While the annual CMF event is usually reserved for ANSI company members, ANSI is opening registration to member guests (no registration fee) to learn more about and experience the value of Membership benefits.
The CMF annual meeting is a platform for industry members to discuss national, regional, and global standards and conformity assessment issues, and to collectively influence U.S. policies related to domestic and international standardization. Participants will hear updates from subject matter experts on:
Cybersecurity
Nanotechnology
Government Relations
International Activities
Sessions will also cover an update on government relations, highlighting the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) set to go into effect in July 2020, as well as the COVID-19 stimulus package. Discussions will also cover a five-year update to the United States Standards Strategy (USSS), which guides how the U.S. develops standards and participates in international standardization.
