Join interactive discussions on standards management, emerging technologies, and international activities at the virtual ANSI Company Member Forum (CMF) Spring Meeting on June 9, 2020, from 12:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. ET. The CMF annual meeting is a platform for industry members to discuss national, regional, and global standards and conformity assessment issues, and to collectively influence U.S. policies related to domestic and international standardization.
Sessions will also cover an update on government relations, highlighting the United States Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) set to go into effect in July 2020, as well as the COVID-19 stimulus package. The five-year update to the United States Standards Strategy (USSS), which guides how the U.S. develops standards and participates in international standardization, will also be discussed.
With a segment dedicated to the topic of standards management, this year, and in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, sessions will provide members with an opportunity to discuss best practices for and ongoing unresolved challenges that companies face during the health crisis. Other standards management topic sessions will include Effective standards engagement with internal constituents and decision makers and Anticipating and adapting to the future of standards management.
