Day 3 allowed attendees to explore the flip side of international standardization through conformity assessment overview and training, and hear from industry experts on standards’ effects on emerging topics including AI, SDGs, gender equity, and more.

ANSI and its constituents explored three critical topics at the Legal Issues Forum: navigating the impact of the Supreme Court's Loper Bright decision; new legal developments impacting the practice of incorporation by reference; and data security regulations, practices, and standards.
Separate from ANSI’s World Standards Week events, but held during the same timeframe, the U.S. Celebration of WSD is hosted by a committee of standardization community partners. ANSI and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) co-chair the WSD planning committee. The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) was the 2024 WSD Administrating Organization, with the theme Shared Vision for a Better World: Standards for the Changing Climate.
