2024 U.S.-Korea Standards Forum

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) will co-host the hybrid 2024 U.S.-Korea Standards Forum on Friday, June 28, with in-person attendance at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The annual forum is a valuable platform for leaders and subject-matter experts across industries, government, and academia from both countries to enhance mutual understanding, exchange expertise and best practices, and develop future cooperation.

The forum will begin at 8:00 a.m. ET. Technical breakout sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET, and will be followed by a networking lunch at 11:30 a.m. ET. In-person attendees may also join a special session on standards education following lunch.

Each year, the forum provides a unique opportunity for U.S. experts and Korean executives and officials to discuss standards across a range of sectors, identifying challenges and areas of potential collaboration in emerging technologies. This year’s forum will feature technical presentations and breakout sessions on the following strategic areas:

  • Semiconductors
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Green Energy and Carbon Neutrality
  • Quantum Technology
  • Next Generation Mobility
  • Digital Identity
     

In-person attendance allows for rich networking opportunities, potential follow-up meetings, and engagement with an impressive range of U.S. and Korean movers and shakers from both the public and private sectors.
