As responsible development and use of artificial intelligence is of growing importance to organizations, the InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will host a joint workshop on management for AI systems.

The virtual workshop will explore how to use tools like the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001, Information technology — Artificial intelligence — Management system, to organize and document the efforts necessary to realize and demonstrate responsible AI.

Relevant attendees include data scientists, engineers, product managers, QA professionals, business decision makers, and risks and controls organizations.

Speakers will include: Elham Tabassi, NIST; Rohit Israni, Intel; Lenora Zimmerman, Google; David Bain, INCITS; Kim Lucy, Microsoft; Greg Canon, Amazon Web Services; Stephen Kwan, San Jose University; Tony Barrett, Berkeley Existential Risk Initiative (BERI); and Duminda Wijesekera, George Mason University.
