LMI Article Explores Transition to a Sustained Full-Time Distributed Workforce, Post-Pandemic

LMI recently published an article on some of the challenges and considerations of supporting a distributed (hybrid) workforce, even as teleworking mandates are scaled back.

“In Structure We Trust: Building the Hybrid Federal Workplace” discusses how this new workforce setup, now crucial in attracting and retaining talent, must be viewed as more than just a continuation of the virtual environment necessitated by COVID-19. A strategic transformation is needed, with attention given to establishing new workplace norms and expectations, building trust even as it may not come naturally in a remote work model, and using data to scale a hybrid workforce successfully and equitably.
