U.S. - India SCCP Workshops on Clean Energy to Highlight Data Centers and Green Buildings

6/03/2019

July 15-16 in Hyderabad, India

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) invites relevant stakeholders to register - for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency's (USTDA) U.S. - India Standards and Conformance Program (SCCP) Phase II workshops, in Hyderabad India, on July 15-16, to focus on green building innovations and data center efficiency.

Presentations by U.S. and Indian experts from the private and public sectors will provide an overview of capacity building for data centers and green buildings, as well as emerging efficiency opportunities and standards. U.S. and India's collaboration will help India sustainably meet its energy efficiency targets, specifically in the area of data centers and green buildings, as India aims to reach urbanization by 2030. In order to reach this goal, India needs to prioritize energy efficiency standards and best practices for commercial buildings and data centers, including application of the Indian Energy Conservation Building Code and the National Building Code.

ANSI will facilitate the workshop, part of a series of meetings in India for U.S. and Indian industry and government representatives to discuss standards and conformity assessment practices in three core sectors of U.S.-India trade: clean energy, smart and sustainable cities, and water and sanitation. Phase II is supported by USTDA funding and carried out in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Register by June 24th for the either or both days of the event, or find more information on ANSI's event page:
