ANSI Organizational Member Forum (OMF) Second Virtual Session on Hybrid Meetings

Feb

23

Join an interactive discussion with representatives of standards development organizations for an ANSI Organization Member Forum (OMF) virtual session on “Hybrid Meetings” on February 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. ET. The second in an OMF webinar series on best practices for hybrid meetings, the event will focus on challenges, considerations, and potential strategies as the standardization community shifts to hybrid meetings amid COVID-19.

The focus of the February 23 meeting was selected in response to a survey ANSI circulated after the virtual World Standards Week 2021 events, when respondents indicated interest on a session covering “committee leadership and staff responsibilities and training required.” The first session in the series, recorded on October 27, 2021, as part of ANSI World Standards Week was moderated by Chris Dubay, vice president and chief engineer, NFPA, and is available on ANSI’s YouTube page.

Chris Carnahan, assistant vice president, standards at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), will moderate the discussion of the series, with speakers:

  • Laura Brumsey, vice president, operations and administration, Compressed Gas Association, Inc.
  • Monica Leslie, operations manager, standards, NSF International
  • Mark Zar, ground vehicle committee manager, SAE International

Register in advance via the Zoom link. Registrants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Please note that an OMF meeting is being planned for spring 2022 in addition to this series of webinars.
